Essentials include lightweight clothing (cotton), a light jacket for highlands, sturdy walking shoes, rain gear (especially during monsoon), sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and any personal medicines.
What is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?
It depends on which region you plan to visit. For the west and south coasts + hill country: December to March is ideal. For the east coast: April to September is better.

Yes, we can arrange for vegetarian, vegan, halal, and other special diets — please let us know in advance so we can coordinate with your accommodations and restaurants.
What are the currency, tipping, and local norms I should know?
The local currency is Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR). Major credit cards are accepted in hotels & tourist areas; ATMs are fairly available.
Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory. Guides, drivers, and staff usually welcome modest tips.
